WISHING YOU A BLESSED CHRISTMAS! FROM ALL OF US AT nahUsabi!!!!

A man asked Lord Buddha “I want happiness.” Lord Buddha said first remove “I” that’s ego. Then remove “Want” that’s desire. See now you are left with only “Happiness.”

Whenever I think of the smiling and happy faces from others, I am smiling too!!! What a great moment!

The best thing is when you are keep sharing on your generosity and unconditional love to others, you are actually plant a good seed in your surrounding. You inspired others to make changes in life through your leading example. Always remember to walk the talk and not talk the walk.

I read the below from The American magazine, vol. 28 (1889), pg 742:

“to give up one’s very self — to think only of others — how to bring the greatest happiness to others — that is the true meaning of Christmas”

How profound!

May your day be filled with love and peace,

May you shine out your love and peace to others,

May you bring smiling faces wherever you go!

Wishing you and your family a blessed Christmas and Happy holidays!

Smile always!!!

Doping: WADA team takes 3,000 Russia samples

Doping: WADA team takes 3,000 Russia samples

Around 3,000 samples have been taken from Russian athletes by officials investigating claims of widespread doping in the country.

The World Anti-Doping Agency (WADA) launched its investigation following allegations made in a German television documentary.

Russian Sports Minister Vitaly Mutko confirmed a WADA commission had now visited the country at his request.

He said: “They took around 3,000 samples to be checked in laboratories.”

Mutko told the sports agency R-Sport: “I wrote a letter to WADA, in which I said very precisely that we were open to receiving any commission and ready to show everything.

“A commission from WADA has already been to visit us, which included three people who were led by the director of science.

“We will continue to work along this route and we are completely open.”

Programmes aired by the German broadcaster ARD in December contained a number of allegations including one claim that as many as 99% of Russian athletes were doping.

There were also allegations of cover-ups from within Russian athletics, while the International Association of Athletics Federations (IAAF) came in for criticism.

It was claimed that a list of 150 suspicious blood samples, including one from a top British athlete, were not properly investigated by the sport’s world governing body.

The allegations were denounced as “lies” by Russia’s Athletics Federation, while the IAAF launched its own inquiry, reports the BBC.

Earlier this month, WADA announced its former chief Dick Pound would head up an investigatory commission looking into the German documentary’s claims but said it would not start work until January 1.

Sony allegedly demands Twitter remove tweets with content from hacked emails

sony

Sony has sent a letter to Twitter allegedly threatening legal action unless the social media website removes users who are publishing material from emails that surfaced after the hack on the entertainment company.

Motherboard reports that Sony’s attorney, David Boies, sent a letter to Twitter’s general counsel, Vijaya Gadde, saying that Sony allegedly considers Twitter “responsible for any damage or loss arising from such use or dissemination by Twitter”—unless Twitter expels users who have posted material obtained in the hack.

EW can confirm that Twitter received a letter from Sony, which was sent to one unidentified user. A representative for Twitter would not comment on the specific content of the letter. Motherboard says it received a copy of the letter from the user over whom Sony has raised specific concerns.

According to Motherboard, Sony asks that the account holder in question, musician Val Broeksmit, be banned and his published screenshots of some of the hacked Sony emails be removed from Twitter.

“SPE does not consent to Twitter’s or any Twitter account holder’s possession, review, copying, dissemination, publication, uploading, downloading, or making any use of the Stolen Information,” the letter allegedly says. Boies continues on to request Broeksmit’s suspension from Twitter, as well as the website’s cooperation in suspending any other users posting content from the hacked emails.

Motherboard has posted a copy of the letter the website says was originally sent to Twitter, then Broeksmit. Boies has previously sent out a warning to news outlets saying that Sony “does not consent to your possession, review, copying, dissemination, publication, uploading, downloading or making any use” of the “stolen information.”

A representative for Sony did not immediately respond to a request for comment.

Kanye West’s ‘Yeezus’ gets a Christmas remix

Kanye-West-Yeezus

Kanye West’s shouty and abrasive Yeezus screams a lot of things, but “Christmas” was never really one of them, until now.

Comedy trio Local Business Comedy have shared a new remix that reimagines Kanye’s hostile sixth studio album as a family-friendly Christmas offering. Okay, maybe “family friendly” isn’t the right word  it does, after all, open up with “F–k, man, it’s Christmas again.”

Album opener “On Sight” becomes “Long Night,” about Santa’s race against time on Christmas Eve. “Red Hat Head” keeps the grunts and howls of “Black Skinhead” but swaps out its lyrics for things like “So leave out the cookies, I’ll chug all the milk.” “I am a God” becomes “I am a Klaus”; “New Slaves” becomes “New Sleighs”… you get the picture. Take a listen below.

SABOTAGE :100 more soldiers for court-martial

ABUJA — About 100 more soldiers are to be court-martialled by the Nigerian military for a number of offences relating to the on-going fight against Boko Haram terrorists.

An online journal, Premium Times reported that its sources disclosed that  118 soldiers have been transported from Maiduguri, the Borno State capital, to face charges in Abuja, a week after 54 soldiers were sentenced to death for refusing to fight Boko Haram.

It is not clear when the troops will be arraigned before the court martial, the sources said. Unlike their colleagues who were convicted last Wednesday, the soldiers awaiting trial are not accused of mutiny.
Army spokesperson, Olajide Laleye, said he was unaware of the development.

Sources also said that the soldiers are accused of relatively minor charges including loss or misplacement of rifles during operations against Boko Haram.

The allegations follow repeated reports of troops fleeing Boko Haram fighters and abandoning their weapons for the militants in Borno and Adamawa States.

Boko Haram militants have flaunted arms they claimed were seized from government forces in several videos.

The 54 soldiers who were earlier sentenced to death belonged to the 111 Special Forces battalion attached to the 7 Division of the army in Maiduguri.

They are to die by firing squad, the military court ruled last week.

The soldiers were accused of disobeying a direct order from superior officers to take part in an operation aimed at dislodging Boko Haram terrorists from Delwa, Bulabulin and Damboa in Borno State.

The soldiers said they refused to take part in the operation because the Army did not provide them with the required combat and support equipment needed for such operations.

Our sources said the convicted soldiers have been moved to Lagos to await appeal, pardon or execution.

Also, in September, 12 soldiers were sentenced to death by firing squad for shooting at a car conveying their commanding officer, Ahmed Mohammed, a Major General.

The attack occurred May 14 at the army’s 7 Division, Maimalari Barracks in Maiduguri, headed at the time by Mohammed.

Others were also sentenced to life in jail for criminal conspiracy and attempt to commit murder.

The soldiers revolted after some of their colleagues were ambushed and killed by Boko Haram extremists, an attack they blamed their commander for
